Failed to set protocol version OSX

I downloaded the OSX version, and am getting this error. I try to run the game and I get unable to launch game. I have RCT2 installed, and have played it more than once. So how do I set the protocol version?

 

EDIT: Also noticed that the launcher is not locating RCT2, no matter where I have it.

There should be an option in the launcher to manually select the RCT2 folder (not the OpenRCT2 folder, nor the data folder inside the RCT2 folder).

Or maybe just have a drop down with all the different versions of RCT2 selectable. For instance; Base Disk (Infograms), Expansion Disks/TTP (Atari), Atari Download, Steam, GoG, E.T.C.

The game is automatically looking for those folders already.
