CoasterCrazy234 Posted January 19, 2016 Posted January 19, 2016 (edited) I have encountered a weird glitch involving the queue lines. I have people walking up the queue line as if it were a path. What I believe is happening (please correct me if I am wrong) is that people get tired of waiting then leave but sometimes they walk up the queue. This is a weird glitch and only happens when the queue has quite a lot of peeps. https://youtu.be/s_yhz_QHDOQ Edited January 19, 2016 by CoasterCrazy234
Broxzier Posted January 19, 2016 Posted January 19, 2016 Does this issue still occur when you move the entrance somewhere else, and back again?
CoasterCrazy234 Posted January 19, 2016 Author Posted January 19, 2016 (edited) Errr... I tried doing that whilst the game was paused and it kinda messed up my file, see my latest topic for details. https://openrct2.org/forums/topic/801-assertion-failure/ Edited January 19, 2016 by CoasterCrazy234
jensj12 Posted January 19, 2016 Posted January 19, 2016 I've noticed this too (probably even RCT1). Moving the entrance elsewhere and back fixes the issue. If you don't do this the queue (the people actually waiting in line) will get empty, everyone joining walks straight to the entrance and back.
RuneLaenen Posted January 19, 2016 Posted January 19, 2016 This is actually an original bug which was also in RCT2. My fix was to close the ride, wait until everyone was gone, and reopen the ride. It did the trick for me
Broxzier Posted January 19, 2016 Posted January 19, 2016 The assertion failure is a different issue that is being solved as we speak. Did it work before you saved the game?
CoasterCrazy234 Posted January 19, 2016 Author Posted January 19, 2016 Yup, just when I tried to move the entrance like you advised me too, the game crashed. Went back to Autosave, attempted to overwrite my existing file, the error came up. Now I believe the original file is corrupt. I do still have the previous AutoSaves so I technically haven't lost my original file.
