renansimoes Posted December 5, 2015 Posted December 5, 2015 I can't save a track design, even a simple one.
Gymnasiast Posted December 5, 2015 Posted December 5, 2015 Probably because you cannot write to the Tracks folder of your RCT2 installation.
Jake Posted December 19, 2015 Posted December 19, 2015 I actually had this same problem, however i am able to save most track designs. I downloaded the recreations pack that converts the deluxe scenarios to rct2 compatible and on certain parks i am not able to save certain. There's no way they're too big because i have been able to save larger rides before. I've also tried saving track designs on an original rct2 map to try to rule out it being a bug with the rct1 maps. The only thing i can think of, from the error message, is that there are too many elements in the design.
Broxzier Posted December 19, 2015 Posted December 19, 2015 You shouldn't be able to save in there without permissions at all, the coaster does not have any impact on this. 4 hours ago, Jake said: The only thing i can think of, from the error message, is that there are too many elements in the design. That's exactly what the message says, but as you can see there clearly aren't.
spitzrun Posted December 19, 2015 Posted December 19, 2015 I also have been having this issue. It seems to be only effecting specific track designs, some work some don't with in my park. Generally I have found small compact designs to be the ones that won't save.
