Jamaka2001 Posted October 25, 2015 Author Posted October 25, 2015 EDIT: It's up now. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WD6U1MiG5Lg&feature=youtu.be
Jamaka2001 Posted October 25, 2015 Author Posted October 25, 2015 After removing 2, only AVG but I am unable to uninstall it and disabling it doesn't appear to work.
RuneLaenen Posted October 25, 2015 Posted October 25, 2015 1) Run an elevated command prompt. 2) Change directory to the program directory. (to the folder where you unzipped the zip)3) Enter the following command:cacls *.exe /e /g builtin\users:rcacls *.dll /e /g builtin\users:r
Jamaka2001 Posted October 25, 2015 Author Posted October 25, 2015 I'm unsure where the zip to the AVG is, as it was installed almost 3 years ago. EDIT: I'm stupid, sorry.
Broxzier Posted October 25, 2015 Posted October 25, 2015 I think Runelaenen means where you extracted the OpenRCT2 zip.Beat me :P
Jamaka2001 Posted October 25, 2015 Author Posted October 25, 2015 Once again my stupidity ruins everything :( (Sorry.) http://prntscr.com/8va419
RuneLaenen Posted October 25, 2015 Posted October 25, 2015 Ehm...cd /cd Userscd Kylercd Desktopcd openrct2(I'm not sure how it is in Vista, but I think this could be correct. use the cd command to go to another folder. cd / goes to your C:/ root)
Jamaka2001 Posted October 25, 2015 Author Posted October 25, 2015 That failed, so would it be this instead? http://prntscr.com/8va7jc
RuneLaenen Posted October 25, 2015 Posted October 25, 2015 Ah well yes, you have to go to your own folder...You can also copy paste the path if you click on it (I think).so...cd C:/Users/Kylers/Downloads/OpenRCT2-develop-904I think
RuneLaenen Posted October 25, 2015 Posted October 25, 2015 So, when you're in the folder, try doing the commands I gave you a few posts ago.
Jamaka2001 Posted October 25, 2015 Author Posted October 25, 2015 So, when you're in the folder, try doing the commands I gave you a few posts ago. I haven't gotten to change the directory in the Command Prompt since the code was a single line, I just get this... http://prntscr.com/8vado2
RuneLaenen Posted October 25, 2015 Posted October 25, 2015 You forgot to put 'cd' in front of the path.'cd' is the command you give, it means Change Directory.
RuneLaenen Posted October 25, 2015 Posted October 25, 2015 I'm not sure what the expected response is... Does it work now? :p
Jamaka2001 Posted October 25, 2015 Author Posted October 25, 2015 So, I guess I'll go in my corner unless a magical breakthrough evolves.
RuneLaenen Posted October 25, 2015 Posted October 25, 2015 Yeah I can't really think about anyone else. I'd say, use our new subscription system to get updates about your topic, in case anyone might have an other possible sollution for your problem...

Jamaka2001 Posted October 31, 2015 Author Posted October 31, 2015 So... ummm. I made the random choice to try and start Open RCT2 through the launcher, and it worked... Hopefully this isn't just a phase, but I honestly don't know how this happened... The only thing that doesn't load is my custom content which I'm sure can be fixed in the future. Edit: everything is in full working order.Edit2: Some custom parks I've tried are having a little bit of trouble loading, will try more. Edit3: It isn't working anymore after a restart..
