tilion
v0.3.4.1 (97ded2d on develop) provided by GitHub Windows (x86-64) So while trying to save my park the game crashed and now my save file is corrupted. Is there anything I can do about it? I spent many hours on it and I really don't wanna start over again. BTW no crash dump as the develop version could not create one. No autosave, as this function kept crashing the game every time it tried to create one. 😭 Six Flags Helsinki.sv6 Edited August 29, 2021 by tilion Link to comment

Six Flags Helsinki.sv6 37 B · 1 download The file you linked is only 37 bytes long, so it contains no useful data. If that's the only file you have, the save is not recoverable. The only thing that might work is to use data recovery software to try to locate an old copy of the file that may have been deleted, but there's no guarantee that one exists or that it is recoverable if it does. If you are not using autosaves, it's a good idea to save regular backups of your park manually so you don't lose everything if a save gets corrupted. 3 Link to comment
tilion
Thanks. I tried file recovery, nothing came up. I reverted to the last stable build and turned on autosave again. Well, sometimes you have to learn the hard way. Link to comment
Gymnasiast
If you ever experience crashes when autosaving again, please make sure to report it. We added them specifically to address this kind of scenario, so we really don’t want people to turn them off. You can report crashes here or on our issue track on GitHub. 1 Link to comment
