game version wont update

Hey

I wanted to play but my game wont update to the right version

i have the launcher but it didnt update to the latest version (8a9fda6)

Please help me

A commit with ID 8a9fda6 doesn't exist, but I assume you want to use the development version? Make sure it's selected in the options of the launcher.

Ok, so i re-installed the launcher but it still wont update! I am really mad and i want to know how to fix this

Anyone who knows how to fix this please help me

But what if i want the convenience of the launcher?

Make sure the launcher can write the files. Close all instances of the game, reboot if you haven't to make sure no processes are blocking it, and try again. Otherwise, remove the OpenRCT2 installation files and then run the launcher.
