using the Demo

I have somewhere in my box of old games the RTC2 games Im using orct2 on my Mac (no disk drive) currently using the Demo download to run. By using the Demo am I actually missing any content or is it just a case of buying a copy to be legal?

Yes, you're missing a lot of content. OpenRCT2 provides the object information of the original games, but since you don't have the assets you won't see them. Because of that, parks made by others may appear rather empty to you. I suggest just getting the full game, it's not expensive and you won't be having problems where you can't see things that others can.

It depends which demo you're using. There's one that's missing content and there's another one that isn't.

That one should not have any content missing (though I'm not going to go through and verify the presence of every object). I'm pretty sure it contains everything the full game does.
