No excitement ratings on new RollerCoaster
S-Man42 replied to S-Man42's topic in Problems, Bugs and Feedback
Yes there is one. This causes the problem? -
Hi, i built a new Wooden RollerCoaster but it gets no excitement ratings. This makes the peeps do not enter the attraction. Is there anything I should check? Greets S-Man

Wow, can you show me the Dinosaur Robot?

Yes it is because the small scenery problem. I have no problem with the ride objects Btw. is there a tutorial on how to create own objects? Your idea with one large object sounds interesting. Like a use case for learing how to do it
-
I am sure about it But nevertheless I am having only 256 possible small scenery objects. And I do not know which of them I can remove for a car object...
-
Ok, thx. No I don't want to add some scenery. I am waiting for the cool new file format which allows more scenery objects

No tram anymore (updated video). The more I looked at it the more I felt like you But the shark stays Edit: Maybe I can ask you a question: I didn't know how to put all these vehicles to the cinema. My way seems to be very strange but I don't know any better: For every static vehicle I build a short track (station, two turns, one straight, two turns), set entrance and exit, made them invisible, set to crooked house, opened the track (out the vehicle) and closed it. And this for every single car. I am sure there is a much better way
-
Updated the YouTube video. Did some small enhancements (a brake). But didn't change the water fall. So the track is really hard for adding more brakes or boosters. Next time

Done. Just had no time for converting yesterday
-
Yeah, cool. Could you do this please or should I do it?

Thanks a lot for your analysis So theres no way that peeps use the whole wide stairs? I loved the idea of a public viewing arena like an antique theatre
-
Yes, of course. https://four-two.de/rct/avoid_peeps_crowd_on_wide_stairs.sv6

Sry for the creepy title. I didn't know how to descripe the problem in short words. Hi, Currntly I am building park ways which have a width of 3 way tiles. But sometimes there are point where peeps get stuck and build crowds. Mostly this happens on stairs. At the attached image you can see a "stair" consisting 5 ways up (I made them invisible, but this makes no difference). Now there a many peeps running in circles and never get out. A few guys do nevertheless. So I can really say that the way tiles are connected correctly. I had a look at the tile inspector which shows the connections. But I tried to rebuild it. But there is always the same problem. This does not happens at all stairs. It happens only at some point. Sometimes at simple places without stairs. Is thisna bug at the routing engine? Is there a fault of mine? Can I avoid this behaviour? Greets S-Man

Best solution would be to see it in the building wizard: Current length and length with chosen track piece.
-
Additionally I want to mention one thing (in view to another recent thread). If you change the track type some special pieces wouldn't work as expected anymore. For example the booster piece of a roller coaster does not work for crooked house.
-
Hey sry for asking again. But I was wondering if there's a list how long each track piece is. Or is that a trial and error thing?

Switch Coaster Types: Booster sometimes not working
S-Man42 replied to S-Man42's topic in Problems, Bugs and Feedback
OK, I played around a little bit. I think my problem can be explained: The wooden wild mouse interprets the spinning piece also as spinning one and not as booster. -

S-Man42 replied to S-Man42's topic in Problems, Bugs and Feedback
Hm seems logical... in a way I have to accept it Thanks. But there's still the mystery why the booster doesn't work with the wooden wild mouse althought there's no spinning piece which could override the booster functionality -

Ok, and this is for all wild mouse style? (because it is also for the wooden wild mouse which has no spinning piece) But the problem is: The LIM is right (the booster value is 20kmh; the LIM graph shows this value), the giga is too fast as you can see at the graph. -

Sorry, this is confusing me. Let us take the fourth case: The booster works althought the LIM hasn't one. At the screenshots you see the spinning mouse which originally hasn't one too. At the giga coaster's booster the same train is accelerating too much. No weight difference because it is same train. And why does it work for the LIM and not for the wild mouse: Both have no boosters.
