How am I on the missed turn list now? Philmon took the park from the missed list before I got home to claim it and now I am on the missed list? That doesn't make any sense. I can claim tonight but if someone wants to work on it now, feel free to claim.
  2. *Edit* Oops... nevermind. Read your post/issue wrong.

Can someone clarify what needs to happen to the landscaping for the back third of the park? All land needs to raise ABOVE the lake level so water runs down hill into the lake? Is this correct?
  4. 1. Anaconda @ Kings Dominion (beats the CRAP out of you with an extremely boring layout) 2. Hurler @ Carowinds (rough wooden coaster with very poorly functioning turns; my sides hurt every time I ride it) 3. Drachen Fire (defunct/dismantled) @ Busch Gardens Williamsburg (I LOVED IT.... just turned your brain to mush after a few rides because it was so rough.) 4. Great American Scream Machine (defunct/dismantled) @ SF Great America (Atrociously rough and bland layout) 5. Batman @ SF Over Georgia (Very rough- can't ever feel my ears after riding. The only bad B&M I have ever been on!)
  5. Another thing I was thinking but is probably not the case.... Have you changed your mouse DPS settings? You have been a member here since November so you must have been playing for a few weeks now. Did this just start happening?
  6. Welcome to the forums! You will find that your story is very similar to most of us here. Enjoy your time in this community!

Your***** I tried the ride entrance/exit but I could not close the ride with it being broken down! That is the only trick I knew to get me to the station quickly. Lets see if someone else has any ideas before you tear it down! I would hate for that to happen...

Yes. I could not close Frozen Eggplant as it was broken down. Also, I think there are pathing issues with the ride. I could not even figure out where the station was because I could not close the ride temporarily. Sweet looking coaster though! Would there have been another way for me to find the station?

Done! I decided to not create a building for a station but instead built a gardens type atmosphere. Canopies would be nice on the queue paths but I do not have time for that right now. I also went around and added a ton of benches and trashcans in populated areas. Here is a screenshot (I like the screenshot w/ upload idea @Broxzier): Few things to note for the next few turns: Bathroom complaints Frozen Eggplant is all sorts of broken Guests are getting stuck in places And the list/file: Park File: Community Park V2.58.sv6 Next In Line: @Broxzier, WobblyRails, UTMAN, jensj12, Wuis, Philmon11, Squab Missed Turn: imlegos, Enner, xbalogan

@Broxzier Jens post is correct as I still have it claimed.. I will upload by 10PM Eastern US time (5 hours behind GMT) tonight! All I need to do is complete the station for the duel impulses and tidy up the area with fences and path items.

Done for tonight. I will finish this area up tomorrow and upload. Suggestions appreciated. Dueling Inverted Impulse Coasters (completely ripped from Cedar Point's Wicked Twister)

  14. Quick question: Is the security certificate for this site expired? When I access from my work, I see a red "x" and an crossed out https on the address... Is this a technical issue because of my workplace filters? (Don't worry- I won't get in trouble)

STAY SAFE FRIEND. _____________________________________________________________________________________________________________ HERE IS THE UPDATED LIST: CURRENT BUILDER: WobblyRails Next In Line: UTMAN, jensj12, xbalogan, Wuis, Philmon11, Squab, Broxzier, EnnerMissed Turn: imlegos Beautiful work @enner! I was dreading how we were gonna landscape all of that area.
  16. @Dan On your east coast trip, try to visit: Carowinds (great oasters), Busch Gardens Williamsburg (stunningly beautiful and great coasters), and the Orlando parks (Very family friendly and fun)- Disney, Universal/Islands of Adventure, Seaworld. Also, Cedar Point is in the Eastern US but a ways inland from the coast or the northeast. A lot of coasters might make it into your top 5 with that trip! Also, I just looked this coaster up on RDCB and came across this No-Limits simulation. RIDICULOUS... I can't fathom that being a wooden coaster.
  17. I would LOVE to get to Europe one day and visit all the big parks! Thorpe, Alton Towers, Europa, Efteling, and Tivoli Gardens all look like incredible parks. Sadly though... as an American... traveling abroad does not sound like the best or safest option with all the unfortunate events occurring across Europe.
  18. Not yet! Remember- it is only pre-alpha. I am sure they will be implementing more features/rides/scenery as it develops. I will say... building with walls and building objects are MUCH easier to use compared to RCT2. Everything "snaps" to the grid making it much easier and quicker to place objects. I agree with you on the graphics though... I have not quite gotten used to it. It is more "cartoonish" compared to the more realistic style in RCT2. I know NOTHING about programming or graphics but I hope they are enhanced by release or even beta.
  19. I assume that everyone who has a love for this genre of simulation also has a general love and passion for good roller coasters or theme parks. What is everyone's top 5 roller coasters they have been on? Also, what is your home park? My home park is currently Carowinds but I grew up within 20 minutes of Busch Gardens Williamsburg. Top 5 Coasters: Apollo's Chariot (Busch Gardens Williamsburg) Fury 325 (Carowinds) Millennium Force (Cedar Point) Ghost Rider (Knott's Berry Farm) Kumba (Busch Gardens Tampa) I am a sucker for good hypers/gigas.
  20. Let me know if anyone would like to see anything in the pre-alpha! I purchased access over the weekend to support the devs and have had fun with it so far. It is very similar to RCT2 with building and general mechanics. The coaster construction aspect still needs work, especially with creating realistic drops but it has huge potential. MUCH better than the RCT: World garbage beta weekends that were in Nov. and Dec. Again, let me know if you would like to see anything specific!

Scratch my last post- I am done tonight. I filled in the area between Valley Dash and the green square. Added a top spin, water slide, and some shops. Sunfire is now light brown. Here is the file for @Broxzier to claim. Community Park V2.50.sv6 Next In Line: Broxzier, enner, Wobbly, UTMAN, jensj12, xbalogan, Wuis, Philmon11, Squab Missed Turn: imlegos

Nice coasters @Wuis and @jensj12. Lumberjack is awesome and only going to get better when the area around it is filled in! Can I get any suggestions for recoloring of the area near Sunfire? I am going to extend a pier into the lake where the immelman loop is. Any suggestions are appreciated!

    My wip, Hunters End.

Brilliant work. How did you get the curved and smooth edged paths? Custom content I am assuming?
  25. You probably uploaded the screenshot but did not drag it to your post. Nice start! I really like the hyper coaster- simple and classic design. I would suggest simplifying the paths by making them wider, especially the bottleneck happening at the entrance of the wild west area. Instead of using smaller path leading in many directions, have large corridors that snake around the park to help with peep management.
