RCT Classic and OpenRCT 2

Really hope this isn't too dumb a question-

So I did the whole transfer files thing with RollerCoaster Tycoon Classic and OpenRCT2, and I get the launch window with RCT2. How exactly do I use RCT Classic with this? What do I click on?

This page describes how to use RCTC with OpenRCT2 (you do not need the minigame, but it is recommended if you use RCTC instead of RCT2). Step 7 tells you what to do when opening OpenRCT2 for the first time.

Yes, but do I use it by clicking "New Game"? Or do I use it by play RCTC?

What do you mean? If you are able to play OpenRCT2, you've set it up correctly. If, when you click on "New Game", it complains about missing objects, then you've probably only copied some of the required files across.

You can, of course, still play RCTC having installed OpenRCT2.
