Height Adjustment for Pre-Built Tracks

I'd like to inquire about the ability to raise/lower pre-built roller coasters and other "track" rides, similar to how you can hold shift when placing scenery or non-custom rides while building. I find it really annoying that I can't adjust roller coasters up to the height that I want them at.

I know you can adjust the height of the first piece of a roller coaster, by the way. I'm talking about tracks from the track design window.

A highly requested feature (and one of the first: #450), but none of the developers made any progress on it yet. I'm not sure whether it's because it is hard or no-one tried it yet, but seeing the issue is already open for almost 7 years, probably the former.
