Shire Posted March 12, 2020 Posted March 12, 2020 Hi, I downloaded some custom scenery here and there and put it in C:\Users\USER\Documents\OpenRCT2\object, but it doesn't seem to load in OpenRCT2... Am I doing something wrong? I tried to find some information on the internet, but that didn't solve my problem. I feel like an absolute noob now. Never used OpenRCT2 with CC... I would appreciate the help. Thank you!
X7123M3-256 Posted March 12, 2020 Posted March 12, 2020 That's the correct place to put it. Click the "filter" menu in the object selection and check that "custom" is selected - if not, custom objects will not be shown. Also check the terminal output - if an object failed to load there should be an error there.
Gymnasiast Posted March 13, 2020 Posted March 13, 2020 Some things to check: If the objects were zipped, did you unzip them? Do the objects have a .DAT (or .PARKOBJ) extension? Custom content will not automatically appear in any park you open, you will have to add it via the Object Selection (accessed via the cheats). Make sure that you have the filters set currently (like X7123M3-256 describes) and that you have clicked the "Advanced" button in that dialog.
