Server window not showing up when starting a server

Hello to all of you,

I wanted to play this masterpiece with my friend. However, when creating a server, I can load the map etc. just fine but the server window (in this command prompt window style) doesn't show up at all. Conseqently my server also doesn't show up in the server list.

I already port forwarded and everything but that darn window just isn't there. Thanks to everyone who can tell me how to solve this (and possibly report their experience with the same problem?)

In the server starting menu, change "Advertised" to yes, or whatever. This will make it show in the list.

Of course I got that enabled, still doesn't work

Check that no security program is blocking it?

Run the game with openrct2.exe --console and check the output. It might be that port forwarding it not working properly, and in that case a warning will be printed.
