Nintendo Posted October 2, 2016 Posted October 2, 2016 Since the Homebrew community for the Wii, 3DS and Wii U are huge, is it possible to port OpenRCT2 to any of these consoles?
imlegos Posted October 2, 2016 Posted October 2, 2016 ...Probably not, given the coding Also, why did you put "Nintendo" as your username... The closest we have too non-PC based ports is Android device ports.
X7123M3-256 Posted October 2, 2016 Posted October 2, 2016 Is SDL2 available for those platforms? If so, I can't see any theoretical reason it couldn't be ported, but until the vanilla code is fully implemented you would be missing some of the drawing code. 1
janisozaur Posted October 3, 2016 Posted October 3, 2016 Wii and Wii U also use PowerPC, which is big-endian, we don't support that (yet). @Nintendo you're welcome to spearhead the effort. 1
imlegos Posted October 3, 2016 Posted October 3, 2016 ...Honestly I feel a RCT game that doesn't suck would be interesting on a device with seperate game and touch screens, on one screen you have the park view, and the other has all the building controls.

imlegos Posted October 3, 2016 Posted October 3, 2016 Because the market needs a 4th game competing this year. @SensualEthiopianPolice
