YoloSweggLord Posted May 10, 2016 Posted May 10, 2016 It would be great if OpenRCT2 made it possible to save the scenery selection in the same manner as one saves landscapes- within the scenario editor, in the menu there's be a "save scenery selection" option that saves a file containing (in a list) the rides/scenery/path etc. selection currently in use. This selection could then be loaded to a map in the scenario editor, provided the current landscape doesn't contain any scenery that isn't in the scenery selection. 1
Superjustinbros Posted May 10, 2016 Posted May 10, 2016 I like this idea; it's easier than trying to memorize which items were selected across each scenario for sure. 1
YoloSweggLord Posted May 10, 2016 Author Posted May 10, 2016 I know it's possible to open a scenario, then edit the landscape to a new map, but that doesn't allow us to apply scenario selections to our landscapes that are already made. This would allow us to mix-and-match our scenery selections with our saved landscapes and scenarios.

It was introduced in RCT3 somewhat, but it could easily be brought into RCT2 by finding a way to circumvent the "Save ride with scenery" feature and split them.
