  1. That must be why the WW/TT flags for the filters activated without the expansions. In another note. WW/TT scenarios have flags as well. for instance, a custom scenario could be set to activate with a WW/TT flag like in one scenario pack I downloaded several months ago. When checked, it would check to see if WW/TT is installed before launching the scenario. Somehow the fact that the WW/TT objects and tracks can be ported without a trigger flag saying that an expansion pack is required is purely strange. Is there any information on how some scenarios can have flags that only launch with expansions?
  2. Actually, it didn't have any deep scratches that I know of, I just had the disk cleaned of scratches and it works just as fine, but I should take that option when I need to.
  3. When I downloaded the ported WW/TT objects to the base game from here, I later found the scenario descriptions for the WW/TT scenarios in the scenario editor of OpenRCT2. Does this mean that the WW/TT scenarios are hidden in the base game and not detected until the actual expansions are installed? I think this means that someone willing to do so may make exact ports of these expansion exclusive scenarios (provided that they first get those ported items from the link I provided) into the base game. Even then the game won't detect that these are from the expansions and will place them in the other parks tab, but it would be a good thing to try.
  4. Sure I will do that, but mine is heavily scratched, it can still run though. I can clean the disc and retry, then I can follow your steps.
  5. While this is not an issue to OpenRCT2 itself, the perquisites is the issue I have gotten into when trying to install RCT2 Vanilla. Of course RCT2 works on Windows 10, but I ran into an error during installation. It says there was a data error and now I can't even cancel the installation. Even then I had this disc for 14 years now. What should I do?
  6. That would be great. It was introduced in RCT3 somewhat, but it could easily be brought into RCT2 by finding a way to circumvent the "Save ride with scenery" feature and split them.
  7. It could be possible, but not with the system limitations, and the current version of OpenRCT2. It can be done with two people on a skype call, or some other way of recording Two capture devices in a AttackingToucans VS style. That would be neat.
  8. I don't really know, but that is off topic. I know that the clear description shows when you beat it though. Though we can use it as a filter button.
  9. The only problem is that it already shows up when you change it in the options of OpenRCT2 to group scenarios in the RCT1 style, the thing is, I want user-made scenarios that require WW/TT to be filtered. The Vanilla WW/TT groups will appear normally in their sections when installed. I get your concept though.
  10. Now this is just biased in my opinion, but there should be a feature where if you don't have the required Expansion pack for roller coaster tycoon 2, there should be a filter available in the options section where scenarios requiring add-ons would be faded out and unplayable when checked. I have several scenarios like this, and I want them filtered out to show what I can play and what I can't play until I get an expansion pack. Another note: I wanted a similar thing with multiplayer, but I don't know how that would work with the search system...
  11. I am also having the same thing, though I only have the base game of RCT2 installed and the crashes I see happen is when I try to look at pre-defined karts (Only one available at default is "Castle_Karts.TD6). I am with you too! By the way I use the latest Developmental build of OpenRCT2.
  12. I have used 8 Cars per trainer in the original RCT2 to find out how long the game can play. I found it it ends on October 31, Year 8,192. Now I wonder what happens to the games coding if it rolls over to Year 0 (which doesn't exist and it rolls back to March Year 1) normally? Would the game get messed up if it happens through normal play? And if so, according to the current release of OpenRCT2, would going past Year 8,192 make the game unstable? Also, would multiplayer be affected by the integer overflow?
