I've noticed that despite the small community, we are very geographically diverse. I've seen people from the US, Netherlands, Germany, Brasil, UK, Sweden, Netherlands, Chile, India, Netherlands, and even the Netherlands! I wonder what country is next?

Pretty sure that is because the Soaked expansion of Rollercoaster Tycoon 3 was like nowhere to be seen in the Netherlands, they all kept playing 2 and didn't get a bad aftertaste.

Could it be that marketing in Netherlands was more than anywhere else at that time?

Also, it does seem RCT3 is more known to people and what they call "old times". I don't know how, but I could never get nostalgic vibes from it, except the music.

@SensualEthiopianPolice You forgot the Koreas again. ;)

No, no, no. They come too see my unfinished mine train.

All joking aside, RCT2 is definitely a universally loved classic in the business sim industry. It's camera feels right, the game is simple to learn, and there is no skill cap. You can always find something new that you want to get better at, weather it be building scenery or ride designs. The game also runs well on most machines, and it's low cost makes it widely available to all

oh god this is going to end up as a meme xD

Still, when it was finished (if we're talking about the same mine train) it looked wonderful, just some minus points for all the.. mentions in the chat about it haha ;p

Just met a Scottish person in the game. We can finally strike Scotland off the list. ;)

(I'm still surprised only one person told me they were from Scotland, considering Chris is Scottish)
