SensualEthiopianPolice Posted May 9, 2016 Posted May 9, 2016 (edited) I've noticed that despite the small community, we are very geographically diverse. I've seen people from the US, Netherlands, Germany, Brasil, UK, Sweden, Netherlands, Chile, India, Netherlands, and even the Netherlands! I wonder what country is next? Edited May 9, 2016 by SensualEthiopianPolice
Wuis Posted May 9, 2016 Posted May 9, 2016 Pretty sure that is because the Soaked expansion of Rollercoaster Tycoon 3 was like nowhere to be seen in the Netherlands, they all kept playing 2 and didn't get a bad aftertaste.
ziscor Posted May 9, 2016 Posted May 9, 2016 Could it be that marketing in Netherlands was more than anywhere else at that time? Also, it does seem RCT3 is more known to people and what they call "old times". I don't know how, but I could never get nostalgic vibes from it, except the music. @SensualEthiopianPolice You forgot the Koreas again.
Nubbie Posted May 9, 2016 Posted May 9, 2016 Of course you're suppose to see people from a ton of different countries.. as they want to see my wonderful coasters :*<3
YoloSweggLord Posted May 9, 2016 Posted May 9, 2016 People flock from all corners of the globe in hopes of catching a glimpse of my memes. It has nothing to do with your coasters, Nubbie.
imlegos Posted May 10, 2016 Posted May 10, 2016 No, no, no. They come too see my unfinished mine train. All joking aside, RCT2 is definitely a universally loved classic in the business sim industry. It's camera feels right, the game is simple to learn, and there is no skill cap. You can always find something new that you want to get better at, weather it be building scenery or ride designs. The game also runs well on most machines, and it's low cost makes it widely available to all

ziscor Posted May 11, 2016 Posted May 11, 2016 (edited) we're talking about the Mine Train in Freedom Park, right? Edited May 11, 2016 by ziscor
YoloSweggLord Posted May 11, 2016 Posted May 11, 2016 Yes; unfortunately, I lost my freedom park file so now it will be forever unfinished MEWHHAAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHA
imlegos Posted May 11, 2016 Posted May 11, 2016 RIP Unfinished Mine Train. You were never finished. I shall move on to improve the skills that brought you to be.
Nubbie Posted May 12, 2016 Posted May 12, 2016 (edited) Wait is it this park? EDIT: Think it is, sending it on skype Edited May 12, 2016 by Nubbie
ziscor Posted May 21, 2016 Posted May 21, 2016 Just met a Scottish person in the game. We can finally strike Scotland off the list. (I'm still surprised only one person told me they were from Scotland, considering Chris is Scottish)
imlegos Posted May 23, 2016 Posted May 23, 2016 @SensualEthiopianPolice You do know that Sawyer openly dislikes open source versions of his games, right?
