I really messed up

So I had 2 versions of OpenRCT2 (stable 3 and a dev build); I tried converting stuff from the stable over and it said the .dll thing was missing (it technically wasn't); I uninstalled both versions and reinstalled the stable build. Now I can't start it because it doesn't know where it is; at least my parks are safe {I started my Steam version and the parks were saved, just not completed}

How did you install the game? Are you using the launcher, or using an installer for getting OpenRCT2?
