Jasontgrocks Posted February 16, 2016 Posted February 16, 2016 I don't understand how to download this. Where is the location of the installation directory? I'm not computer smart so this is pretty challenging... thank you for help, Jason
RuneLaenen Posted February 16, 2016 Posted February 16, 2016 Did you install the original RCT2 game before trying to run OpenRCT2? You need the original (for example on Steam, or even from an old CD) to play OpenRCT2.
birthdaybrian Posted February 16, 2016 Posted February 16, 2016 If you have the Steam version, then the game will be in your Steam folder under steamapps/common or if you have the retail version, then the path should be Infograms or if you have TTP, then it should be located in Atari. 1

Run it at least once, download a zip from our download page and unzip is somewhere (doesn't really matter where), run the openrct2.exe and it SHOULD work. If it doesn't, let me know

imlegos Posted February 20, 2016 Posted February 20, 2016 The RCT2 directory is where the game is located, in this case it's probably program files (86x) Steam Steamapps Common RollerCoaster Tycoon 2 Triple Thrill
