Can’t install RCT2

I own RCT2 on disk. I just tried to install the game but when I try doing that I get a message saying there has been an error with decompressing support files. Anyone have advice how to fix this?

I haven’t seen that error before, but it sounds like a damaged or dirty disc. Try cleaning it and see if that helps.

Otherwise, I’d suggest you buy it on GOG or Steam. Steam currently has a "double pack" offer, containing RCT1 and 2 with their expansions, for €12-13. That will give you all content that OpenRCT2 supports.

Thanks for replying. I do own two versions of the game on disk and it happens with both of them. So I feel like it’s probably not a damaged/dirty disk. Disks also look fine.
