Please help, can't open on mac but game working

Ok, so far this is what I've done:
Downloaded offline RCT2 from GOG, used WineBottler to launch the .exe. Game opens, runs normal as it should. I downloaded OpenRCT, when it asks for the original game I click OK but the game won't select to open. Am i missing something? I've been trying for hours and i can't figure it out. Thanks!

You will need to select the RCT2 directory inside the Wineprefix that WineBottler created. I don’t know where WineBottler saves these, but it is possible that it’s a hidden directory. Which, by the way, is why our guides do not recommend using WineBottler in the first place. It is also possible that it’s hidden under that `rct_2` app in your screenshot.

I would instead try this utility: https://macsourceports.com/utility/extractor

Use it to extract the files from the GOG installer to a specific directory (e.g. Downloads/RCT2), and then point OpenRCT2 to that directory.
