Screen Going black after exiting full screen mode

I'm a new open rct2 player but I'm not new to rct2. Once i downloaded open rct2 everything was running smooth, and I LOVED it. The problem is that every time i try to load a saved game it minimizes - the open rct2 game tab back to the windows home screen. Then when I click back on the openrct2 tab from the taskbar, the screen pops back up as plain black, but i can still hear sound and click on the menu but cant see anything, I've tried updating, re installing and I can't figure it out. Please Help!

Try changing the graphics settings in the options menu (top right in main menu). In particular, try different renderers (hardware, software, OpenGL) and fullscreen options. If that doesn't help, please include a screenshot of that window.
