How do I close a Topic?

So let’s say that I make a topic asking about how I build a rollercoaster. Then after a bit, I get all the information I needed. I don’t want to get any more notifications from that topic now that I’m done with it. How could I close it without hiding it? Remember I don’t want to hide it, I want other newcomers to be able to learn themselves. So how is it done?

To stop getting notifications, you could unsubscribe. Then the topic remains open, and other members can still improve on previous answers.
