Custom Objects Not Showing (Answered)

Hi All,

 

Just started playing OpenRCT2.

I am trying to download custom objects placing them into the 'D:\Steam\steamapps\common\Rollercoaster Tycoon 2\ObjData' folder.

When I restart the game none of these custom objects are showing in game. I have checked 'Custom' under the filter settings, not sure what I am doing wrong.

Try putting them in the OpenRCT2 dat folder. I don't recall exactly where it's located, but it's in the OpenRCT2 folder somewhere.

OpenRCT2 will not read custom objects from RCT2's ObjData folder, only original ones.

Put your custom objects in C:\Users\username\Documents\OpenRCT2\object (create the "object" folder if it does not exist.)
