Scott
Hi All, Just started playing OpenRCT2. I am trying to download custom objects placing them into the 'D:\Steam\steamapps\common\Rollercoaster Tycoon 2\ObjData' folder. When I restart the game none of these custom objects are showing in game. I have checked 'Custom' under the filter settings, not sure what I am doing wrong. Below are the objects I have downloaded: https://www.nedesigns.com/rct2-object/3493/mwb-pl40/ https://www.nedesigns.com/rct2-object/7473/wall14wf/ https://www.nedesigns.com/rct2-object/7332/wass0002/ https://www.nedesigns.com/rct2-object/12048/mvmapsh/ https://www.nedesigns.com/rct2-object/11358/sign3avl/ If anyone can help? Thanks, Scott. Edited May 1, 2018 by Scott Marked Header as Answered. Link to comment
saxman1089
Try putting them in the OpenRCT2 dat folder. I don't recall exactly where it's located, but it's in the OpenRCT2 folder somewhere. Link to comment
Gymnasiast
OpenRCT2 will not read custom objects from RCT2's ObjData folder, only original ones. Put your custom objects in C:\Users\username\Documents\OpenRCT2\object (create the "object" folder if it does not exist.) Edited April 30, 2018 by Gymnasiast Typo 1 1 Link to comment
