We recently found out about open rct2 and were really excited to play multiplayer. However, when we make a lobby and the other person tries to join in, there is a dark red circle with a message saying - unable to connect to server. Any help? Thanks

Thanks Different versions, both of you need to check if you're downloading the same network vesion (Develop)

Nubbie Posted October 22, 2016 Posted October 22, 2016 Have you checked that the ports really are open? (As I presume you added the server by the IP and not found it on the master server) Start the server and check if the ports really are open: http://www.canyouseeme.org/ 1
