Applejackcats
I am not sure how to go about fixing this. I have reinstalled both Rct2 and Openrct2, as well as the launcher for it. Link to comment
imlegos
Did you check the folder location listed for any information? Link to comment

I did check the folder that both applications are located in, and there aren't any noticeable issues. (I moved them to the same folder for ease of access, it was still showing the same error when they were separate) Link to comment

imlegos
Post the dmp file here. Someone who knows what to do with it will eventually come here to help. Link to comment
Applejackcats
Done, never had a problem like this before a85cdcaa-368b-44c8-a1b5-eff0417e9f40(644a36a).dmp Link to comment
Kevdog3700
You should report this on github as a lot more devs are on there Link to comment

FiveFuenf
Yeah, would be great. I really wanted to try OpenRCT again . Link to comment
FiveFuenf
Tried it again with OpenRCT2-0.0.5.0-develop-c487e12-windows, this time installed directly onto the C:\ drive - still the same error. Link to comment
Blackendsun1
I have gone through every file in the objdata folder comparing to the ones on my laptop. (OpenRCT2 works on there.) The files were exactly the same, and it still doesn't work... I have no clue what to do now.... Edited June 22, 2016 by Blackendsun1 Link to comment

The devs will be able to help you much more there. 1 Link to comment
Blackendsun1
I have no need for that now, I deleted the entire OpenRCT2 folder, along with all my good parks and saves, and it fixed it's self. Wish I could of saved them, but I wanted to make sure that those files were gone for good. Link to comment
FiveFuenf
https://github.com/OpenRCT2/OpenRCT2/issues/3940 IntelOrca linked the following Version for this error on GitHub: https://openrct2.org/downloads/develop/97fedab With this, OpenRCT2 works. I have one further, small question which probably doesn't need it's own thread: Can i use saved games in OpenRCT2 without restriction in the original RCT2? And how about vice versa? I just tried to load an OpenRCT2 save in RCT2, which worked. I'm wondering, if this works 100%, or if certain elements may be missing. Edited June 23, 2016 by FiveFuenf Link to comment
newton27
I have found when my game crashes, using the launcher, try selecting the Stable build. When you do, it reloads the cache of objects, after doing that close the game and restart the launcher and then re-select the development build. That again will check and clear the cache, or so it seems to me, and works every time. 1 Link to comment

A few things (such as features labeled OpenRCT2 only when you turn them on on rides) won't work in or will crash RCT2. Link to comment
