openrct2 on Mac

Having trouble installing on mac,  when I'm asked to locate RCT2 file it doesn't let me click on the file I've downloaded from GOG or the demo.

A file won't exactly work. You have to have a folder with RCT2's installed files in it. Or were you actually talking about a folder?

You need to point it to the folder RCT2 is installed in.

I have installed it through wineskin as its a window based game and I'm using a mac, it doesn't give an option to you use that either, maybe I'm just not getting it?

If you used WineSkin to install it, RCT2 must have clearly installed in a certain folder. You'll have to find that folder, and then do as we've told you. Try opening RCT2 and saving a file from within the game. If the usual explorer window (or whatever it's called in OS X) opens up, just check the folders everything is in. 

Or, you could just google where WIneskin applications get installed.
