Lonpos Posted July 23, 2015 Posted July 23, 2015 Yea, this might be a bit over ambitious.. The idea is really straightforward; to let every object cast a shadow on the ground.
RuneLaenen Posted July 25, 2015 Posted July 25, 2015 This is not possible due to the nature RCT2 works. It's not really 3D, it's more 2.5D, which makes it unpossible to generate 'custom' shadows.
Broxzier Posted September 21, 2015 Posted September 21, 2015 As runelaenen states, the game is actuallly 2D. Every object is just a sprite, there's no way of knowing the depth of a pixel relative to its center, so shadows aren't possible to do here.
