Yea, this might be a bit over ambitious.. The idea is really straightforward; to let every object cast a shadow on the ground.

As runelaenen states, the game is actuallly 2D. Every object is just a sprite, there's no way of knowing the depth of a pixel relative to its center, so shadows aren't possible to do here.
