  1. The name of the park comes from my actual surname. Well I am in the middle of my park. It is pretty big. It will take quite a long time to finish. Anyway, I want to share my progress with you all. As the post says, this is my dream park which I thought up of since around high school (I'm from the UK so I would be 12 when I first started). It currently has 25 Rollercoasters. The tallest being 590ft the smallest being 5ft. There are 9 zones currently - Phobic Valley, Spirit of Speed, Heart of China, Cross Valley, Pyro Mania, Mutiny Bay, 300 AD, Satan's Kingdom and Family Frontiers. Anyway I'll first start off with near the park entrance and Family Frontiers for now. (It isn't finished yet). I'll put up more later. There is quite a lot and I really don't want this to be a page long post. My progress is rather sporadic, so some things appear more finished than others. This shows the area of the front of the park. The rides to the left are in Family Frontiers zone. The building which goes directly ahead of the park entrance still needs to be completed, the monorail station needs completing also. Here we have the zone's entrance - Family Frontiers Here we have Kryptonite - a corkscrew coaster with a half loop lift (similar to G-Force at Drayton Manor UK). This ride is based of an idea I had in secondary school. It was going to be a different type of ride but I changed the coaster but still kept the same half-loop lift. Then we have Zoom! - a family/junior type coaster. The checkerboard ground is where the Carousel is going to go. Then we have a chair swing, helter-skelter and some food/drink stalls (they are in the bluer building). We have Odyssey which is a family thrill coaster. I am unsure whether it completely finished or not, I feel in some ways more could be done. Dipper is up next. I added lots of scenery and I think it is a good small-medium family thrill coaster. It has a curved lift, so if it were to be built IRL The lift would most likely be drive tyre. One ride I forgot to show stats for in this screenshot is the smallest coaster in the world - Tidgy Widgy! (It is the ride behind the Helter-Skelter). Also I can't believe the popularity. You think with a coaster this small and slow not a lot of people would ride). I have always wanted to (after I heard of Dvergbanen at TsunFryd (Norway) which has a sign claiming to be the smallest rollercoaster in the world!). Here we see Roundup (just left of the middle of the top of the screen). Next to the Roundup we have a Suspended coaster - Lateral Damage (I may change the name but don't know what to change it to). I don't think this is finished yet - I could add a catwalk to the lift. Then we have a family 'classic' - a Wacky Worm (the yellow coaster with green supports). I don't think the layout is a true wacky worm but hey - I tried. Then we have a red building which houses a tea-cups ride and shops (food, drink, toilet). Well that is all I am going to show for now - I don't exactly want to make a full page post and I think this post is long enough. Any feedback would be gladly appreciated and I would love to hear your thoughts. [EDIT: This post is pretty much a full page long. Long enough - I say]
  2. Does OpenRCT use the standard Screenshot feature (from RCT2). I've looked everywhere and I can't see my screenshots. This leads me to believe - there is none. If there is where are the shots stored? If not can it be implemented?
  3. The only reason I am asking for the Heartline to be changed is because I have made a custom pipeline coaster that features turns and loops. Also, I believe the Ultra Twisters (TOGO Pipeline) aren't that rough. I really want to go on one! The only bad part is the sudden stop before the brake (just before you tilt and go backwards). Here is a POV of one: Like I said earlier, they look super fun! Why isn't anyone making pipeline Roller Coasters anymore? I'm getting off topic...
  4. I think you are dead right! I had a drop tower over 500ft (Roto-Drop) it slammed back into the station. I'm surprised the +ve G's didn't kill the peeps! It had an intensity of over 20! I think I have a solution - have an extra track piece available during construction - a brake section. At least then you can build huge drop towers and build a large enough brake section to slow the train down to a stop.
  5. Well - The Heartline Twister Coaster has a WAY to low excitement rating. Also is it at all possible to decrease the intensity after a coaster has more than 10 inversions. I have 23 on one coaster (it's based off The Smiler) but the intensity is 14 and the excitement is a measly 2. Is there any way to increase the excitement level to a more realistic level like 6?. I don't like how coasters with more than 10 inversions start to go crazy on the intensity and lower excitement. I would like the number of inversions to affect the intensity to be 14. The reason I am saying this is due to The Smiler (which I have ridden). The Smiler is a very popular rollercoaster (not so much now after the crash), and if that was built in RCT2 hardly anyone would ride. I just want the Ratings System to be tweaked to match today's standard (if you know what I mean).
  6. Could it be possible to manually change the Excitement/Intensity/Nausea stats on a ride? Perhaps you could use an override code (or something) that changes the stats? It would be really good if you could!
  7. I always have the same problem when it comes to the Monorail: all trains start at the same spot. If you have 4 trains they are all behind each other. It is very annoying especially if you have a large park and peeps keep leaving the Monorail Queue, so the monorail loses a lot of its practicability. What would be helpful is (I know it is done in RCT3) starting each monorail train at a different station. With a good setup, there should be equal wait on all stations If this is possible, when do you think the relevant update will be in place? Or do I have to wait for the full game (OpenRCT being finished)?
  8. Oh okay, I didn't realize (must have thought of RCT3, silly me :P). Anyway, thanks for your comment - really appreciated!
  9. It doesn't work. When I press SHIFT nothing happens. That is why I have resorted to the RCT 1 workaround. I know that SHIFT changes height. However, for pre-made rollercoaster height it doesn't work.
  10. For some reason, I am trying to place a pre-made rollercoaster in my park and it is not letting me change the height (similar to RCT). I know this is a bug as in RCT2 you can adjust height of pre-made coasters. For now, I will have to do the RCT1 work-around (raising the land and doing it that way). Not a major bug it is slightly annoying.
  11. The ability to move the Park Entrance in-game would be extremely helpful. If it is possible, how do you do it?
