It's not likely this would be done as it would require recreating every single frame in the game. There is a lot because of things like turning and just the sheer amount of rides, attractions, stalls, scenery, paths, people, and other things.

I think the gui buttons are going to be recreated, and an extra zoom level is going to be made by upscaling the sprites. At least that is one version I once read somewhere.This can off course only be acchieved after full decompilation.
