Problem: Separate paths for benches

Hello everyone,

I recently picked up this game again and spent some time with rct2 but I stumbled upon a problem.
In the map of Six-Flags belgium I found a section where paths next to each other seem separated, which makes it able to place multiple benches on the path.

Is there anyone who can enligth me on how to create these kind of paths

First build walls or fences where these splits are, then build the path, and then you can remove the walls or fences again. It will leave the paths as they are.
