0.4.15 not loading progress?

Hi,

First of all: Thank you for OpenRCT2.

I've been a decades-long player of RCT and when I discovered OpenRCT2, I just had to rediscover RCT!
So, thank you.

For the past few months I re-opened OpenRCT2, with 0.4.14.
Last week I upgraded to 0.4.15, but now I've lost my progress in parks completed.
So, I have to restart in Forest Frontiers.

Is there a way to fix this?

Hi,

I just overwrote the old with the portable zip.
Was that a bad idea?

You have to remove the files of the old version first, just extracting the new portable ZIP over the old will cause problems with object loading.

In which folder did you install OpenRCT2?

Indeed, while upgrading to 0.4.16 by removing 0.4.15 first, all went well.
