Brick path showing up as dirt path

I have installed the latest version (yesterday) on my mac but when I want to build the colored brick paths it automatically builds the dirt/asphalt path in the corresponding color instead. This is in all scenarios I have tried, RTC1, RTC2 and expansions. I suspect the files for paths are messed up, but how do I fix it? I do not know how it is supposed to look like and where they are located.

EDIT: I looked in the objects selector and the object for the path is there, but the image is the wrong path. It also says: "Rollercoaster Tycoon 1 not linked - fallback images will be used"

These paths, as well as a few other objects, require RollerCoaster Tycoon 1 to be linked to OpenRCT2. Otherwise they will fall back to the closest match we could find.
