KernelForbin
Hello, Apologies if this is a stupid question. I tried searching the forum and couldn't find anything (I think I don't know the proper search terms). I had installed OpenRCT2 on my old computer no problem (OSX a couple years ago). Today I repeated the process (Windows 64 bit), and while all went smoothly in procedure, when I launched the game, I don't know how to describe it exactly--everything is tiny. Is it the resolution? I cannot find a setting to change any aspect related to the display of the game. It is unplayable because, well, everything is tiny. Text, squares, park visitors, all buttons. I'm attaching a photo of the welcome screen. I feel like a moron, please help me to make the game display at normal size on my computer. Thank you in advance. KernelForbin
Okay, nevermind. The default display resolution was SO off that the Options button on the main screen was nearly invisible (as you can see in the screenshot upper right hand corner). Now, my question is: How do I delete this post? Or should I leave it up in case anybody else searches "everything is tiny" like I did? lol Link to comment
Broxzier
Just leave it up, because this is an annoying problem for new players. One questions that you hopefully remember: when the game first booted, did you see a window (not maximized), and was this tiny compared to your screen? Edit: I've made a discussion/feature request for it on GitHub: https://github.com/OpenRCT2/OpenRCT2/discussions/19655 Edited March 16, 2023 by Broxzier Link to comment
KernelForbin
Yes, the initial startup window was itty bitty as well. Thank you! Link to comment
