RCT1 Features in OpenRCT2

Hello!I was wondering if anybody have had the idea of adding the paths available in the first rollercoaster tycoon that was not present in rollercoaster tycoon 2. I'm refering to the four brick paths in the picture. Also, I know that the edges available in rollercoaster tycoon is kinda unnecessary in rollercoaster tycoon 2 with all the scenery but it would be cool to still have it as a option. The option to choose the support structure type for the paths was also a feature I liked more in the original RCT and it would be cool if that also could be implemented somehow into OpenRCT2. That way one could mix and match the different path types with different support types just as in the original. http://imgur.com/hSzP8TD

Hi Irwe,this is actually already on the roadmap. The plans are to put all RCT1 and 2 functions in OpenRCT2. This can still take a while tho, since the game has to be fully decompiled for most functions to work.
