Cannot access most features

I downloaded the newest release of OPENRCT2 but I cannot access 90% of the features including cheats, max speeds, max heights, online play, pretty much most of the features.  Is there something I need to do or something I am not doing???

Cheats can be enabled in the options (or ctrl-c for the cheats window). Multiplayer is accessible from the main menu (3rd big button).
