Legomojo
Hi everyone! I’m new here, but I did give a quick scan of recent posts to see if anyone else had this problem and didn’t see anything. I recently discovered Open RCT2 and that it had multiplayer online support. So my partner and I excitedly bought the game on Steam... for our Macs... oops! But I found the demo on here and downloaded it. I ran the app, directed it to the demo folder and POOF! Like magic, the music played the screen came up. I left it running while discussing it (mostly for the music) and a little while and then sat down to futz with the options and look for the networking options. Here’s where things went wrong. I checked the option to “turn on grid” because that’s how I liked it. Then there was an option below that about “text” or something (can’t recall now) and instantly it crashed. I try to open it again, a few bars of the music play and they the app closes. Tried deleting and reinstalling both the demo files and the OpenRCT2 app. Still same problem. Tried restarting the whole computer. Same problem. I’m cursed! Link to comment
Gymnasiast
You need to go to `Library/Application Support/OpenRCT2` and delete `config.ini`. That should reset the configuration back to the defaults. You can open the Library folder by opening a Finder window, clicking the "Go" menu and holding down the ALT key. It should then appear in the menu. 1 Link to comment

Thank you, that fixed it and I’ll never select “display banners in uppercase text” again. Haha. Link to comment
