Game freezes when unloading passengers from corkscrew rollercoaster

Hey all,

I have just started playing ORCT2 and all has been going well. However I have built a corkscrew rollercoaster, and sometimes when it unloads the passengers, it causes the game to freeze. It does not crash but it just sits there not responding with sounds still playing until I click somewhere in the window, then the application does the typical grey out death sequence until I end the task.

Whenever the conditions are perfect, whatever they are, it will ALWAYS freeze upon unloading the passengers - this was tested with a save game that just happened to be saved a fraction before the issue. Because of the nature of this problem I do not believe that a crash report or anything gets generated. But I could be mistaken?

I am using Windows 10 and I have no mods installed, but I am running a custom scenario that I made myself. Does anyone know what could be causing the problem? Does it sound familiar to anyone?

If you have a save that reliably reproduces the freeze, please upload it.
