OpenRCT2 reverted to RCT2 in Steam

Hi, I just started playing OpenRCT2 recently from Steam on my Windows 10 Acer laptop. It was running great and suddenly, today, it reverted back to RCT2. All my completed scenarios weren't even registered. should I download it all over again? what should i do?

If you’re running RCT2 instead of OpenRCT2, you indeed won’t see your completed scenarios as both programs use different locations to save them. Try running OpenRCT2 instead of RCT2. Since you say it ‘reverted’, I suspect you replaced RCT2.exe with the openrct2 executable. Just do that again and everything should work as before.

Thanks for your reply. Yes I replaced the RCT2.exe with OpenRCT2.

i just downloaded it all over again and it has seemed to work.
