Josh316 Posted March 5, 2019 Posted March 5, 2019 (edited) I have Windows 7 and the triple thrills pack from steam. When I download the openrct2 installer and after I install it and attempt to launch it, the game will crash and say a dump file has been created in my document folder. Am i doing something wrong on the installation side or something? Was wondering if anyone had any tips on this Edited March 5, 2019 by Josh316
jensj12 Posted March 5, 2019 Posted March 5, 2019 If you installed RCT2:TTP from steam in the default directory, everything should work out of the box (if not, you have to point OpenRCT2 there, but that shouldn't make it crash). Try to verify the game cache of RCT2:TTP, remove OpenRCT2 and install the launcher again. That should git rid of any issues during installation. If that doesn't help, you'll probably need to file an issue on github with the dump file attached.
REDNECK2020 Posted March 23, 2019 Posted March 23, 2019 i just bought RCT2 on disc and i cannot get OpenRCT2 to work i was wondering if it has to be on 7 or if i can run it on XP.
jensj12 Posted March 23, 2019 Posted March 23, 2019 OpenRCT2 does not support windows XP. You need to upgrade your OS (or get a new computer) before you can play OpenRCT2. 1
