Jojas3 Posted June 14, 2018 Posted June 14, 2018 I downloaded RCT2 from gog and it works perfectly fine without Open. Whenever i open OpenRCT2, it pops up with a message, "Open Rct2 requires the original game to operate. Please select the directory where the game is located. I do so, then it claims not to have found the game there. Help?
jensj12 Posted June 14, 2018 Posted June 14, 2018 The folder you need to select is the folder that (directly) contains the .exe file, and has data, scenario and objdata subfolders. Suppose you select folder RCT2, then RCT2\data\g1.dat should exist (do not select the data folder directly). 1
