OpenRCT2 won't start

I'm using the latest build, the dev build, and I get this error. I'm using the demo for RollerCoaster Tycoon 2.

In your Documents/OpenRCT2/bin folder, open the openrct2.com file, and tell us what it prints.

I get the same error.

I mean what gets printed to the console (the black window). If you don't see anythign, try running the game with --verbose to get extra information.

Nothing pops up in the console, and when I run it with --verbose I still get the same error. No extra info.

Did it work before?

Maybe delete your config.ini file and try running it again.

It has never worked, I've tried the launcher and the standalone version, a clean install of both.

A quick google search told me that error code 0xc0000022 means it requires access to files that it can't open. Try running the game as administrator.

Ran as admin, got the same error.

Perhaps your anti-virus is preventing the game from running. It may see one of the required files as a virus. Try temporarily disabling it.
