Players can not connect to my server

When I set up a server other players are not able to open it up. Yes it is displayed but when they try to load it they will be disconnected and get the message: connection lost, no data.

I really don't know how to solve this. Thank you!

Make sure you are on the latest develop version. If that doesn't solve it, let us know which OS you are on (windows, linux, ...) and explicitly post the commit you are using listed in the lower left corner on the main menu.

I am on the latest version, I am on OSX and using 0.0.5-11.

Tried  my Macbook and iMac, both have same problem.

So the problem is either the game itself or a network problem.

rem, do you have a service like Hamachi? I have the same problem, but I think it's because you need a hosting service.

If the other players can see it, but not play it, there's most likely a bug in the game. I'm waiting for a dev to check this. At least there's no need to use hamachi.

Just checking: Did you advertise your server and opened the port the game is using?

Servers don't need a hosting service.

Just checking: Did you advertise your server and opened the port the game is using?

Server was advertised and port was opened, when hosting I could see people trying to reach the server but the lost connection just seconds after that, even after several tries.
