I still have to think about which discord server, and a way to formalize the story so people can get caught up on the history of the park.

    1996.

1996 starts off with a grand addition, The Outer Limits: Flight of Fear. There is nothing wrong with your roller coaster, do not attempt to adjust your restraint, we are now controlling the intermission...

Flight of Fear is a roller coaster that launches you from 0-60mph using state-of-the-art linear-induction motors to launch you at such speeds. What is hiding in Area 51? Are you brave enough to dive into The Outer Limits?

The entrance plaza is located awkwardly in front of Smurf Mountain, which both don't quite fit the Medieval Land theme at all.

    spacer.png

    Riders await their flight ominously.

Inside the building is a mess of track!

Elsewhere in the park, today saw some of the busiest queues the park has ever seen. Starting with Excalibur, in spite of a wave of new drop towers, this one seems to still get quite the crowd.

    spacer.png

In spite of crowd issues, Grizzly Run's riders dwindle by the minute.

    spacer.png

Old Timers is one of the original attractions of Kings Emporium. It's great to see people still enjoying it.

    spacer.png

These poor riders just got doused. Don't ride Log Jammer at night, a fair warning.

    spacer.png

Coal Miner is known to give great night rides. Some people say that it is better than Grizzly Run at night.

    spacer.png

Nearby, Top Gun is carrying a group of anxious riders.

    spacer.png

As it does that, these miserable people are waiting about 1 hour for Congo Falls. Not worth it.

    spacer.png

Next door, Mamba Mountain carries a group of riders to the top of it's lifthill. A lot of work has been done to the ride over the off season, hopefully the maintenance is better this year.

spacer.pngSome people brave walking through Splat City at night. Good luck drying off, folks

As the GAPatriot reminds us that even original rides can have long lines.

    Scooby Doo seconds that!

    spacer.png

Our last shot is of Action Theater. The line hasn't gotten smaller it seems.

We end with the park map for 1996

Great as always. I hope that the new season brings some better Operations, otherwise the park still keeps getting better.

On which platform is the Story now?

Thank you for telling me what was wrong, it was supposed to be a cork screw but it glitched, also happy new year!!!!🎊🎆

Oh yeah, this glitch is quite bad. I am getting Planet Coaster 2 vibes :)

  3. Now it worked! I just had not installed the new update yet.

    Positive:

    - Smooth (really nicely shaped)

    - Interesting elements, feels a bit like RMC

    - Really modern layout

    Negative:

    - To many really slow parts, feels like slow motion sonstiges

    - The first vertical loop is way to slow

    Overall great coaster!

  4. I really like this coaster! The theming is great and the ride is decently smooth. I just think that these unbanked turns in the middle of the ride are a bit unrealistic. But otherwise great Job!

I hope that you will keep up the great Work on discord, after this forums is retired.

  5. I was at the park today. The operations of some coasters where quite bad and mamba mountain was closed all day. I hope that this not becomes the new standert for this park.

Anyways, I wonder where the next coaster will go. I guess that they might have to remove a big coaster to build a new one.

Besides what GingerAdonis already mentioned, there is also the point that the forums are barely used. Most days, I am just here to remove spam. It leads to people posting questions, but not getting answers, or only getting them very late. By going on the other, more active platforms, people will get an answer much more quickly.

The forum licence also costs money, which is hard to justify for something that is used so little.

    That only makes sense.

  7. One year ago I started posting rct creations here. I've made some good progress since then, with the help of your Feedback I was able to improve constantly. I had fun commenting under your posts, creating own posts and helping others. This is not coming to an end, sadly.

To conclude, I decided to rank all my builds I ever uploaded here, I will give you a download link for every creation.

    So let's start!

    1) Hansa Park 2024 Recreation

This is by far my favourite project I ever did in this game. I am really happy with how it turned out, even months later. It was great to recreate a park I know so well.

    2) Equia World

This is my Vision of a perfect theme park. I tried to go all out with the theming, and eventhough it isn't realistic, it's definitely one of my personal favourite parks I build.

Especially the jungle themed area is remembered as one of my best areas.

    3) Six Flags Ghost Town

This will be the last park I ever uploaded here. It's meant to be a realistic american six flags park with some lose theming as well as a lot of coasters. I think it turned out nicely.

    4) African Village

This is one of my smallest creations, the park only having three rides. But I really like this park because of the atmosphere. I really enjoyed doing all the landscaping, and I also scored pretty well in the contest I took part with this creation.

    5) BE Holland

This was my take on a big mega park. It is a bit overloaded, but I love some of the coasters this park had. Especially the intamin strata with lifthill was a great concept I enjoyed doing.

    6) Epic Universe

This was maybe a bit to ambitious. My goal was to create a giant resort (think of walt disney world), but I sadly only finished two of 4 planned parks. But I think that the parks that I actually finished look quite nice.

    7) BE Electic Fields

This was my first ever creation here! It's a beautiful Version of the scenario, completly in a farm theme. I really enjoy this park even one year later.

Additionaly I also have more than 10 other creations. Some of them are here: https://www.dkmp.xyz/contest-parks/rcc66_beplayer

For some other creations, just look under my Account.

I want to thank everybody, who supported me here. Also, I want to say thanks to everybody who downloaded my parks, it always motivated me to make new stuff.

Going forward, I will leave this forum. You can still find me in the Open Rct2 Discord as well as the dkmp discord.

    Goodbye.
