I think we may have all experienced this small annoyance since the very beginning. You have things like see-through scenery, see-through rides, and maybe invisible supports activated while you build something so you can see what you're doing. Once it's built you close the New Rides window, causing the the scenery and everything else to pop back up. I would love it if the see-through and invisible settings stayed active until disabled.
