    I sadly couldn't do anything, I thought I have time but I sadly got even more RL stuff to do. But since this is a new page I will just reupload the same savefile.

  3. Ah wow me already!

    I will claim it tomorrow morning (almost 12am here), I am kinda busy with writing my CV and other stuff but I can definitely need the distraction. ;) 

  4. I really like how you approach things in your coasters/scenery. :) I could learn a lot from you when it comes to variety and which pieces look nice together.

    edit: a general question, how do you make some of the fences diagonal without placing them on ground? Tricks like those I would love to know! The lower building with the monorail station (?).

    Might move the rapids towards the entrance to make space for flat rides in the roman area. (It's a different layout too as "Roman Rapids" didn't fit)

  6. @Wuis Meltdown has that kind of launch because I like it.(and it is the only way I know how to make a good looking launch. :p) The station launch is just 0-x in immediately. It looks super silly. Also back in idk, the update notes said that you can do launches now like this(with chainlifts!) and I built multiple coasters this way without having any issues... Would placing block brakes before the launch fix this? My personal problems with block brakes are the fact that they make everything stall around, it just looks super silly and unrealistic. Open for how to "fix" it though, but I don't see any reason to.

     

    Also I think the first coaster looks better. But I just find the LIM trains so ugly, so I am biased. :P

  7. I see, so basically you want to try to build closed circuits, pathwise? I will keep it in mind for future projects. 

     

    edit: also I just saw that there is a small bush below one of the structures of the brake section on "Meltdown"! If possible, please remove it.^^

  8. I am not sure what you mean, Wuis, sorry.

    But I do plan to get back to this area. As I said it felt kinda rushed for me, mostly because I couldn't come up with something good and I only had a few hours left. scenery wise the surroundings of the ride is pretty "meh", I know that. If there gets to be a time where nobody has it claimed yet I would probably just reclaim it and just work on the scenery around it. 

    edit: @Wuis Oh, you mean the area between the queue for the roto drop and the freefall tower, right? Yes, I planned to make a small water tower of sorts there with a very small river, but time...

  9. Yes I kind of do. ^_^

    I first tried a giga coaster but I couldn't come up with a nice looking layout... So that was kind of sad. This project here feels kind of "rushed" to me. But hey, next time!

     

    edit: tbh it is more the color orange I love so much and it just looks so good in RCT2 on those metal plates *sigh*

    edit2: I mean the entrance area already kind of tells you that though :P

  10. I am sorry for the long wait, I was missing inspiration to build anything and only started earlier today!

    • I added "Meltdown", a heavily themed twister roller coaster!
    • I also added "Fear Factor", a roto drop inside the area as an extra because it fit well
    • I added about a million benches and trash bins! Guys, if you build paths, please place these things, the park was really dirty all over the place and we lost like 300 visitors
    • I had to remove 2 scenery pieces on the "Gravitron" exit because the path wasn't able to connect and therefore couldn't be fixed when broken down

    IMPORTANT EDIT:

    Since I still officially have like ~2 hours I took Wuis and YoloSweggLord's comments and changed 2 things.

    • I made a path to connect "Timber Wolf" and "Meltdown". I am sorry, I absolutely don't know how the pathing AI in RCT2 works, so if my pathing is bad, I am not doing it on purpose. Can someone explain to me how it works?
    • I made the small river I was talking about, because it actually looks nice and cute, but due to the path I built I couldn't make scenery atop "The Giant Drop"

    Also very nice progress, we have a really cute and cool looking entrance area, I really like it!

    (not sure if it has been discussed yet) Are we building with or without WW/TT/CS? Last park was with expansions and CS, so are we doing one without now?

    This park is expansion free. I am not sure about CS and how it impacts the savefile.

  14. @Wuis If you can make the tracks at the start invisible for example, that would be really nice, yes! And also thanks, I take it as a compliment that the park looks joyful. :P

     

    @ectricsanon What issue? I mean the AI has the usual problem of swimming around too long and general horrible path finding, but I limited the area quite heavily and put a trackpiece at the end, so they will row into it faster. Are they getting stuck or the usual "Boat 1 still hasn't reached the station"?

     

    edit: also thank you Yolo, I forgot to put a back entrance into the building.  And nice little coaster. :)

  15. you forgot to put me back on the queue! Easiest way is to just copy the whole text from the person before, so nobody gets lost and its only a little bit of editing necessary.

  16. Puh I honestly had a hard time! I somehow have issues starting off a park just like that, but I think the result is pretty nice. I wanted to make a nice and small entrance area to the park how I know it from real parks and a bit of own influence of course, meaning no big attractions.

    changelog:

    • created an entrance area with a lot of scenery
    • Build a small food court with 4 stalls, including the obligatory Merry Go Round (that is the current name for it aswell, changing it to something else would be appreciated!)
    • Build a boat hire (I had to build a leading path after the start because the AI kept getting stuck on the same tile, I guess this can't be changed but it looks kind of ugly because of it... :( )
    • Build 2 very small mazes, that basically function as a mini "garden tour", I just really wanted to use the space that was left and I didn't see any other useful possibility

    edit: if there is something crucially wrong with this, just blast it out and I will change it. :P
