OpenRCT2 Launcher will not install

When I first try to click it, I get the "Windows cannot open this file" dialog box. Clicking "Use the Web..." brings up a broken link.

I tried changing the file extention to .exe, and got this message:

"The version of this file is not compatible with the version of Windows you're running. Check your computer's system information to see whether you need an x86 (32-bit) or x64 (64-bit) version of hte program, and then contact the software publisher."

Make sure you have .NET Framework installed.

Weird, there's a first time for everything it seems  

You do indeed need to have the latest update of the .net framework, although I'm not sure that's the problem. It's weird that your Windows installation can't open .application files, they're from the Windows ClickOnce system which we use for the launcher. If installing/updating .net doesn't help, I'm not sure what will
