Having a problem with opening up Save File Parks with a Mac

Hi, Ive been have a bit of a issue trying to open up Parks that I downloaded that are saved files and not scenarios. When I put the Park Save Files into the "Save Games" file, they show up in the game menu but when I click on them, nothing happens? Ive talked to people like Marcel Vos and he said he does not have this issue and think it might be a Mac problem as he used PC. Also I noticed that when I look the files they say the kind of files they are are for RTCC which is Roller Coaster Tycoon Classic which I purchased on Steam shortly before I got OpenRCT2. For the Short time I played RTCC I did not have this issue with opening up parks that are Save Files and not Scenarios so could it also be a issue that they are labeled for RTCC and not OpenRCT2?
