How to install RCT2 on Mac?

Hi, I am sorry for starting this thread as I'm sure it's been done before, but I need help!

I had RCT2 installed on my MacBook for a long time and managed to play it before (I think using Wine or whatever, but I don't even remember how to use this), but it recently stopped working. No matter what I did, I could not get it to open anymore.

I decided to remove the game and try a fresh install. I have been trying to follow different guides on how to get the game to work on my Mac, but I must be stupid as nothing is working, or the steps in the guides provided assume you know your technical stuff (I really don't!).

So I am wondering if anyone here knows a tutorial that tells you all the steps you need to get the game to work?
I have the RollerCoaster Tycoon 2: Triple Thrill Pack from GOG (sitting on my Mac as setup_rollercoaster_tycoon2_2.0.0.6.exe, which I don't even know how to install). I have downloaded OpenRCT2. Now what do I do?

Any help would be very much appreciated, so I can play this amazing game again! Thanks!
