My friend can't join my server

Alright, we already did the Port Forwarding stuff. and downloaded the same version

Im able to make the server, but he can't search for it. It just doesnt work.

 

We found a free server and joined that and started making our park, but we want our own server and not to use a free one where other random can join

 

Someone tell me how to fix this or someone please tell me how to get a dedicated server or where to buy my own, so we can just buy it and make it work.

Did you check the box to advertise the server?

 

If you open another window of OpenRCT2, are you able to see the server on the multiplayer list yourself?

Check cascadias steps first, then you can check if you forwarded the ports correctly, start the server and check if the port really is open on http://www.canyouseeme.org/
